Check grammar and check spelling : At the bottom of screen in the middle, you have a box call "check grammar" that  gives you feedback on your grammar explaining the reason of your mistakes and at the left side of the  "check grammar" box you have the "check spelling" box that underline your word in red and you just simply right click and choose your word. 

Speech recognition: On the right hand side of the screen, you have a microphone icon that let you speak to convert your voice into a text and that will help you to know if you pronounce the word right.

Text to speech: On the right hand side of the screen, you have a speaker icon that convert your text to speech to know the right pronunciation of the word.

Civil engineering glossary


Hello everyone, my name is Steven. I am currently a student of Ahuntsic College in Montreal, Quebec. A college is an education institution offering people to go to their career. My programs right now is Springboard DEC. Springboard DEC is a program that let you explore different career and obtain the prerequisite (s) you need to meet the admission requirements of a program of study. The purpose of this glossary is gathering some knowledge about civil engineering and it has also picked my interest.
term 1: karst
definition 1: A landscape formed from the dissolution of soluble rocks such as limestone, dolomite, and gypsum.
term 2: mullion
definition 2: It's a vertical element that divide a window.
term 3: abiosestron 
definition 3: It's a non-living particulate matter in lakes and oceans.
term 4: rabbet 
definition 4:It's a recess or groove cut into the edge of a piece of machinable material, usually wood.
term 5: quoin
definition 5:It's a mansory blocks at the corner of a wall.
term 6: pyroclastic 
definition 6:It's a clastic rocks composed solely or primarily of volcanic materials.
