3 Websites Everyone in Civil Engineering Should Know about
Hello everyone, my name is Steven. I am currently a student of Ahuntsic College in Montreal, Quebec. There are a lot of students that graduated from high school who struggle about what field of study should they go. Well, civil engineering might be an interesting choice for those of you out there who is interested in construction. Here are 3 websites everyone in civil engineering should know about.1. Develop your maths and physics skills.

Civil engineering is the second-oldest engineering discipline. It is a professional engineering that deals with design and construction. Civil engineering is a profession that faces a lot of physics and mathematics. A lot of students are having difficulties in math and physics. Dealing with those two school subjects can be quite challenging and stressful at the same time when you are stuck in a problem.
Of course, math and physics in high school might be easier but in college it is much more complicated and complex. So, here is a website called http://civilengineer.webinfolist.com/. This website explain thoroughly all about civil engineering such as hydraulics, construction materials, environmental engineering and other. But the most interesting part of this website is that they have the calculator features at the top of screen in the middle. They have plenty of options such as bending moment calculator, moment of inertia calculator and others features.
2. Learning throught courses.

Then, here is a website called http://nptel.ac.in/. The website acronym is National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning and it is created by seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) and one Indian Institute of Science (IISc). This Web page was funded by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). There are approximately 1121 courses (419 are webs based courses and 502 are video courses)(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Programme_on_Technology_Enhanced_Learning) of all five engineering branches (Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics and Communication and Mechanical). So, this website will help people in civil engineering to review what they learn in class or learn new things to be more advanced in class. If you are tired of reading books or the web, you can sit comfortably at home or school and watch their video course which might be easier for you to learn.

So, here is a website called http://civildigital.com/. They provide the concept of green-learning and knowledge about civil engineering. At the top of screen in the middle, they have article. Those articles explain things about the building structure, components, material need and sketches. This website will help you reinforce your knowledge about all the building in the world and opens you up in a lot of creativity.
